Scripture
Luke 10:1-16

1. Pray (1-2)

  • Ask God to send more workers into His harvest.
  • Don’t just pray for more workers; prayerfully consider becoming one.

2. Go (3-4)

  • Be willing to go wherever Jesus may send you.
  • Don’t let possessions or people distract you from Christ’s mission.

3. Connect (5-8)

  • Let your peaceful presence be evident to those you encounter.
  • Be grateful for the hospitality you receive rather than expecting the comfort you prefer.

4. Serve (9)

  • Physical suffering reveals the brokenness of a fallen world.
  • Recognize people’s practical needs as ministry opportunities.

5. Proclaim (9-11)

  • Good deeds can open doors, but the good news must walk through them.
  • Meeting physical needs without sharing the gospel leaves the greatest need unmet.

6. Trust (10-16)

  • Faithfully share the truth and trust God for the results.
  • Don’t take rejection personally because they are ultimately rejecting Christ.

‍

  • The tragedy isn't just those who reject the gospel, but those who refuse to share it.
