The Strategy of Multiplication

Multiply What God Has Entrusted

• Ministry multiplication begins with dependence on the grace of Christ (2:1).
• Paul entrusted the gospel to Timothy, who was responsible to entrust it to others (2:2).
• Timothy was to identify faithful people capable of teaching others also.
• Biblical multiplication prioritizes faithfulness, not just expansion. 
• We want to multiply what is healthy and trustworthy.
• In one verse, we see four generations: Paul → Timothy → faithful people → others.
• Biblical success is not merely reaching people but equipping people who will reach others.

The Kingdom of God does not advance merely through addition but through multiplication.

Multiply Disciples, Leaders, and Churches

• We want disciples who make disciples, groups that develop leaders, and ministries that equip people to serve.
• We want to send missionaries and strengthen those already serving.
• Through the Recommission Network, we want to plant new churches and help replant struggling churches to become healthy again.
• We want to recommission churches back to the Great Commission.
• Strong churches should use their strength to help other churches become stronger.
• We should measure ministry not only by what gathers here but also by what is sent from here.

A stronger Rocky Creek should result in stronger Kingdom activity beyond Rocky Creek.

Multiply Churches, Not Campuses

• Our strategy is not to create satellite campuses dependent on Rocky Creek for leadership or video teaching.
• We are not pursuing a franchise model where churches adopt our name, branding, or identity.
• We want to strengthen healthy, autonomous churches with their own pastors, leaders, and congregational identity.
• Autonomy does not require isolation. 
• Churches can share resources, relationships, and mission without becoming the same church.
• Cooperation allows autonomous churches to accomplish together what may be difficult to accomplish alone.
• Other faithful churches use different models. We are simply clarifying the strategy we believe is right for us.

We aren’t trying to make more Rocky Creeks. We want to help make more healthy churches

The Strategy

Healthy disciples multiply disciples.
Healthy leaders multiply leaders.
Healthy churches multiply churches.

Our goal is not to see how much ministry we can bring under Rocky Creek, but how much Kingdom activity we can multiply beyond it.
