Every Promise Kept
When Gabriel announced Jesus’ birth, Mary trusted that God would fulfill every word He had spoken. Her surrendered faith reminds us that we can live confidently knowing God keeps every promise He makes.
- The God who kept His promises then still keeps every promise now.

- Grace made Mary significant, not her works (1:28-33).

- Never doubt God’s power to accomplish His promises (1:34-38).
Mary’s Visit (1:39-45)
- God often confirms His word through the reassurance of His people (1:39-41).
- God’s people rejoice in His work rather than resent it in others (1:42-44).
- God blesses those who believe His promise before they see His proof (1:45).
Mercy’s Visit (1:46-56)
- God raises the humble who know they have nothing and shatters the lie that they must be something (1:46-49).
- God specializes in exalting the humble and humbling the exalted (1:50-53).
- God’s mercy to us is more consistent than our rebellion is to Him (1:54-56).
- The God who loved you enough to send Jesus hasn’t reconsidered.
