Scripture
Galatians 1:11-24

Observation

  • Paul’s faith story began as a zealous persecutor of the gospel to a diligent proclaimer of it. (vs. 11-13)
  • Your rescue from sin is just as impactful as Paul’s transformation. (vs. 12)
  • Sincerity does not lead us to Jesus unless sincerity is about our belief in Jesus. (Vs. 14)
  • Grace offends our natural sensibilities. (vs. 15-16)
  • When the gospel impacts our lives, it transforms us thoroughly. (vs. 14- 23)
  • Evangelism is just one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread. (D.T. Niles)
  • We cannot escape the call for all to share the gospel.

Application

  • We are all enemies of God’s will, called to be Evangelists of His Gospel.
  • Your testimony of faith is one of the most impactful evangelism tools you have.
  • Grace is a well we keep drinking from, not something we move past.
  • Religion can lead to man’s judgement; relationship leads us to Jesus’.
  • We should have zeal for the Father rather than for our fathers.
  • No one is beyond the amazing grace of God; physically or spiritually. (vs. 16-18)
  • Our love for the father should compel us out of our comfort for the sake of the gospel.
