Seminar: Staying Friends Through Disagreements
Join us on February 26 from 6-8:30PM for a seminar on Staying Friends Through Disagreements. This seminar will provide practical tools and biblical encouragement for Christians seeking to engage others lovingly, even in the midst of disagreement. In this seminar, we will: Discuss what is at stake in how Christians navigate disagreement and differences of opinion. Explore foundational character qualities necessary to honor others in the midst of disagreement, and how to cultivate those qualities. Learn how to triage what is worth dividing over versus what is not. Practice engaging in a godly manner with those who think differently than you. Examine case studies on topics that often divide Christians (e.g., political affiliation, young earth vs. old earth, views on eschatology). Whether you want to grow in maintaining healthy relationships despite differences or learn to engage thoughtfully with those who disagree, this evening is designed to equip you with both practical insight and spiritual strength. Register by February 22.
